You may register for classes in person, or by phone, fax, e-mail or standard mail (online registration is in development).
How To Register
Please send your name, address, phone number(s), e-mail address and class title and dates.
The Center accepts Visa, Mastercard, money orders, personal checks and cash. Please note: your place in class is not secured until payment is received. We suggest that if you choose register by e-mail, you divide and send your credit card information in two messages. Of course, this will not guarantee security. To make sure no one intercepts your card number, don't send it in e-mail. Please make all checks and money orders payable to The Center for Book Arts.

Registration Procedures
Registration begins immediately and continues throughout the semester. You are encouraged to register early, as class sizes are usually limited to 8 to 10 students and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Become a Center for Book Arts member while registering to receive immediate discounts on your classes & enjoy all the other benefits of membership for a year!
Cancellation / Refund Policy
The tuition balance excluding $50 will be credited or returned to you if you cancel at least 6 business days before the first class meeting. If you cancel less than 6 business days prior to the first meeting, or if you drop out of a class in progress, you will lose your full tuition. Membership dues are not refundable.
If a class must be cancelled by the Center due to under-enrollment, students will be notified and the full tuition will be refunded, or the student may apply that tuition toward another course, workspace rental, products or memberships. If a class has already filled when a student's payment is received, the full amount will be refunded or may be applied toward another course.
Please Be Advised
The experience of learning bookmaking is important to us at the Center for Book Arts. Classes tend to be comprehensive and a lot of information is covered in each session, especially those sessions at the beginning of the course. For this reason, participants who miss a session may not be allowed to rejoin the class if the instructor deems that catching up the student would be detrimental to everyone else in the class. The Center will not be responsible for absent students who are not allowed to rejoin a class and no refund or credit will be made for the remaining class period.
